The distribution of our film would be mostly mainstream cinema, because of the trailer compatibility and advertising. Although our neo-noir film has certain elements and aspects that would push it more towards less mainstream cinema, somewhere like cinema city for example. The genre our product, and the elements of crime, murder and action within it push it towards mainstream cinema and large audiences. As it stands, our OTS would most likely be shown at places which show short films by students or film lovers, filmed on low budget with no hired actors, equipment or set, this gives it a 'home-spun' kind of feel which would appeal to our somewhat niche target audience.

Cinema city hold a homely, traditional feel, its is the oldest independent art house cinema in the country that makes a mark on the map and attracts an older audience due to the films it shows, its appearance and high ticket pricing. The films cinema city shows live performances as well as films, this attracts a whole new, yet overlapping audience to the cinema. Cinema city gives the feel that it is made by its customers, for its customers, things it shows are regarded to be high quality instead of high budget, and seems to attract genuine 'film fans'. For these reason it would make sense for our OTS to be shown here.

Odeon is a large, mainstream cinema chain aimed at a younger audience who are easier to entice and attract, we can see from the bright colours and excessive advertising that it is a money driven business, with a style tailored for vast audiences to draw in more custom. Because of our young target audience, genre of film and style of camera, sound and characters it would make sense for our film to be screened here. A chain like Odeon would be able to promote our film much more that an independent cinema such as Cinema city, this would be good for the film itself but may reach or target audience in the wrong way.
